His answer is one of the stupidest answers I’ve ever heard at a press conference. 

I thought it was pretty pathetic. I’m stating to cool on Rhule. Says all the right things pre-game but the follow through on the field is not in line with the talk

He is actually much more like Mike Riley when you look at his nice guy personality, coaching style and career overall record.  If you recall back in 2016, Riley's team started off the season well and many were talking about Nebraska being relevant again, then Nebraska suffered a blowout loss and the rest of the season went downhill. We are seeing the same pattern in Rhule's second season only Rhule might not make a bowl like Riley did.  

If I am ranking Nebraska's last 3 coaches, I would put Riley first, then Rhule and Frost last.

I kinda cringed a week or 2 ago when he was talking about how college is like the nfl now and teams will lose 3-4 games a year. I was like dude stop making excuses for the 3-4 games a year he plans to lose. The best teams every year lose between 0-2. Teams that are competing for a natty I mean. 

Same when he talked about they knew going into the game they had to weather the storm early.  You're at home vs a 2 win team.  What am I missing?  This isn't preparing a team to handle adversity, it's preparing them to start slow.  You're not fighting Conor McGregor, you're playing a bad football team at home.  I don't like picking apart words postmortem, but if this was the mentality at the top going into the game, it looked like it.

its so ideal outcome driven... yah, any team wants to win it in the 4th.   how bout we hear some honest thoughts about y we have no pulse offensively.  lets hear some thoughts as to why the defense is incapable of getting off the field in the first half.  Until we actually start correcting clear deficiencies in how this team shows up and plays we will continue to be sold on an ideal outcome and be sold a dream without it ever becoming reality

The offense is going to have to be more explosive and better next season because I would think the defense might take a step back losing Hutmacher, Robinson and maybe others to the NFL.  Lots of upperclassmen regardless.
