Oh, I'm sure you do. I didn't know jack s#!t when I worked there, but I learned a lot from the contractors who came in and weren't a$$h@!es. The key is to ask for a style of tool or a subject of things. Then they can lead you to the isle for you to look yourself  :lol:

I hate talking to team members, but I can't find d!(k in Home Depot or Lowe's and I've got to walk all the way across the store to find someone

I asked my wife about this because she usually handles that kind of stuff.  She said they've always honoured the rebates but it can take several months sometimes.

So probably more inefficient than unethical. 

I know I'll never do any business with Home Depot in Lincoln after my mother-in-law's horrible experiences there when she was trying to get some flooring done.  I don't remember all the details I just remember the whole thing was a damn disaster.

Remember when returning stuff was a pain in the a$$?

Now, it takes 4 seconds and no questions asked.  I can remember returning stuff to Kmart when I was a kid and they asked a million questions and sometimes refused to accept the return.

Knew a guy who returned a baby toy in a clear headphone box, no questions asked and he exchanged it for a new set  :lol:

I do like Menards the best of the three.  
 

1. it’s much closer.

2. More inventory and wider variety (can’t buy milk at Lowes!)

3. And workers are more helpful.

I did get my rebates, but wife would have thrown them away if we weren’t looking. I’ll keep shopping there.
