Update on Tommy Armstrong

He has some photos. I'm not sure what kind of surgery he had other than a (knee) deal. But it looks like his left leg from mid thy to ankle is in a compression/cooling system in his hospital bed. It looks like his surgery was on Friday as the pics were posted 3 days ago. He is shown Saturday with a couple of canes at Memorial Stadium.

Anyone know what kind of injury he had repaired? It looks much bigger than a knee scope.

Its just a "corrective" knee surgery. It was an injury he had in high school, and he is undergoing surgery to fix it the correct way. I don't know medical procedures all that well, but I am sure they have the whole leg wrapped to prevent blood clots from forming.

So much for the "he'll transfer is he doesnt get to play" talk. I love when the bs is shot down by factual events.
No kid who commits two years early and tells everyone he will earn his way on the field is going to transfer if he has to sit out one year of eligibility.. IF he was to transfer, he would lose 3 years of starting time. That is just nonsense.

if he had committed his junior year - but he didn't. 9/19/11. Signing day was 2/1/12.

Ok... he came out publicly then, but he verbally committed between coaches and himself, his Junior year. He has that in an interview somewhere that I heard before signing day, that he had been committed since his Junior year.

Sorry for the crude screenshots, but I figured some would like to see the pics.
