Update on Tommy Armstrong

So much for the "he'll transfer is he doesnt get to play" talk. I love when the bs is shot down by factual events.
Huh? I remember that thread was talking about how if Tommy doesn't get a chance to compete for the starting job next year that some people felt he may look elsewhere. I don't see how a successful minor and necessary surgery procedure this year as he is redshirting, is related...

I was just talking to a guy at work about this. We were wondering if this is the biggest reason we redshirted him this year.

IIRC, Bo said he would be good to go in about 4-6 weeks. Corrected an issue from surgery in HS. Bo and Co must have a lot of faith in RKIII to have the surgery done now. Maybe Marsh also?

I am sure that whole wrap is to keep his leg stiff and reduce the chance of blood clotting. I am not a doctor, just an observation lol.
The blue wrap is probably one of those machines that circulate ice water around the surgical area to prevent swelling. It looks just like the one I had after my ACL surgery. Pretty amazing now days, walk out of the hospital the next day after surgery.

I walked with in 4 hours of surgery, both knees replaced, the following day walked 1800 yards and was released that afternoon. Mind over matter. Was riding my bicycle 10 days later. The blue maybe the cooling system, but normally the stockings are white and it looks more like a velcro type brace.

I don't think so, they'd have played him if they felt they needed him. They just didn't want to burn his redshirt for a little garbage-time, especially with TM back for another season. As far as him not being happy about playing time and bolting that just doesn't make sense. He is already redshirting here. So he'll be a back-up for one season then be in great shape to start for next three seasons. If he leaves he'd have to sit out a year, A YEAR THAT COUNTS AGAINST HIM, he'd actually lose playing time.

Youre right, but I would bet the farm if you took the time to look, it's discussed by some anti-Martinez conspirists somewhere.
