USC game. What did we learn

We don’t have a killer instinct. We can’t grasp a game and take control on either side of the ball

USC wanted it more. They showed up in the 4th quarter and we didn’t

1.  Matt Rhule still sucks.  He is 21-39 in his last 5 seasons as a head coach.

2.  Tony White is not a good DC. His defense gave up 450 yards of offense to a team with a new QB.

3.  Raiola is not as good as we thought.  He continues to buckle under pressure.

4.  Believe it or not the only area of the program that has improved is special teams.

5.  We have had 3 head coaches since 2015, and Mike Riley was the best of those three. Let that sink in.

A better O-line doesn't matter. A 5 star QB doesn't matter. A new OC doesn't matter, nothing matters other than whatever vague undetectable influence that results in this program being inherently snakebitten in a way that transcends the sum of all the variables.

Silver lining is that Dylan looked closer to comfortable and confident than he has the last 4 games (not saying his performance was great).

Does that matter? No. Nothing matters. But I’m a fake fan if I don’t find some delusion.
