Versus Threads vs No versus threads

Do we need more versus threads?

Part of me is like "If it's like this during Spring Ball, how many of them are going to pop up in June? Are we going to get a Jordan Ober vs. Gabe Miller thread?"

The other part of me is like "it's better than arguing about whether or not a QB recruit cooled on us, or we cooled on him". 

So....

Sure, why not.  We could even have comparisons of other stuff.  Nastiest disposition:  Christian Peter vs. Richie Incognito.  Wildest hair:  Wonder Monds vs. Blond Joshua Kalu.  Let the stupidity promulgate!! 

 
I really don't have a problem with them.  I haven't participated in them simply because they don't interest me.  But....if others like them......  But....seriously.....do we need a full front page of them?

That's making them get really old.

 
I would like the ability to vote for both "Mexican" and "Yes".  This poll is invalid!

To stay remotely on thread, I don't really see the harm.  I personally think 'vs.' threads are perfect for the slow summer months when we have absolute zippo in terms of football but hey, to each their own.  It could probably do without being on the main page though.

 
Obviously Mexican is the only correct answer.  My farmer’s almanac tells me VS season starts after the spring game. Check your calendar folks.

Annoys me to see new threads in the Football forum only to find ridiculous "vs" threads.

But it's the off-season, so whatevs. I just wish we could wait until the summer doldrums instead of during spring practice.
