Herbie the Husker first appeared on the cover of the 1974 summer football media guide, derived from a cartoon character of a Nebraska fan at the Cotton Bowl. In 2003 Herbie went through an extreme makeover. This once heavy husker is now fit and trim, and can be seen at games waving the UN flag or extending a helping hand in the community.

Favorite celebrity: Andy Roddick-why wouldn't he be my boy? He's Nebraska born and a huge Husker fan.

Along with a new wardrobe and new hair color, I took 30 inches off my waist, dropped my body fat percentage to five percent and started an intense weight lifting program with my trainers at Husker Power. anyone else find it mildly amusing that the Baylor Bear is beating the Hurricane by (at last check) about 16k votes?

its just a mascot race but i can't imagine Baylor has a bigger fan base than "The U".

I don't quite get it.

Herbie voting has been down, because remember last week?

Did we get like 250 k ? Yet this week, we're not even at 200k. I don't quite understand. Maybe the new voting format threw things off. Or maybe it's all rigged, I don't really know.

Aubie's lead jumped by 10k in one day.

But remember to KEEP VOTING, because in the end, TOTAL VOTES will be a big part of WHO IS #1
