I think common sense must prevail. If it offends you or you feel it would offend most reasonable people; move/delete or edit the post as necessary. just my $.02
I don't scan the whole board; in all actuality probably more like 25%; so there are many posts I won't see to censor. I don't think anyone should feel bad if they do see the offending post and make the call. And there are things I've seen that I've let slide and others have taken action. I don't see anything wrong there either.
