Warning Point Expiration

Sorry if this have been discussed before. I looked but couldn't find anything.

Do we have a standard for when points are ignored if they're old enough? Or should we.

I gave @Count 'Bility a warning for a Personal Attack today. He's obviously a long-time member and good contributor. That was his third Warning Point but the first was in 2009 and the second was in 2013. zoogs noted in the Warning from 2013 that it had been four years and now it's been two years.

Probably not a big deal because I would guess everyone takes that into account anyway but there is an option to have the Warning Point expire after so many days (or hours). Do we want to set them to expire in 365 days or something like that? 730 days?

No, no real standard. What we do is take into consideration how long ago were the warnings, the time interval between warnings, etc. I think we probably don't want to set warning points to expire as a general rule. Since we moved away from the hard-and-fast 3-strike rule, it helps to be able to view members' histories in deciding how to handle recent or current issues. That's my take, anyway.

We have two more reports from attacks he's made in other threads. It may be time to ban since he's going full retard or at least suspend him.

Yeah, I went up and changed the notifications to complete as someone had moved the posts to the offending posts thread if you want to see them. They're pretty blatant.
