Some folks on this board are gonna have a meltdown when Ozigbo is named team captain.

Lol. If he's a vocal guy, I'm all for it. I want vocal leaders that back up their talk. I want an Alvin Mack on our damn team!!!

Speaking of Ozigbo, he's gained an extra step but he's still 2 or 3 steps slower than the guys ahead of him.

Or Ozigbo was 4th string until they had to sit out Bryant, which is what most people here thought he was anyway.

Bell seems like the guy who will get the most carries at this point. He has an odd running style, some footwork reminds me of Helu, but he can't quite house it like Helu could IMO. Washington has the shake and ability to go yard more than any other back on this team. Then pound it home with Bryant/Oz occasionally

Where have you seen otherwise?  Because nothing that the media has reported indicates this.  Other than possibly the spot duty BigRedBuster mentioned.

Frost has said the Ozigbo is a homerun threat. He’s faster straight away, quicker with his acceleration, and makes faster cuts. He is expected to play, as will as Bell and Washington. Hopefully Bryant too if he heals up more. Has Miles Jones been moved to mainly to WR?

Miles Jones has been battling injuries and is being mainly considered for the Duck-R position.  The Duck-R position will probably be a combination of Tyjon Lindsey and JD Spielman with Jones adding depth when healthy.

Obviously there will be a depth chart issued prior to the Akron game, but I guarantee you that these coaches will be stressing ALL YEAR that the depth chart is fluid and you have to earn your plays in the game. In that sense, I think that Akron is going to be a bit of a "shakedown cruise" for that depth chart to be somewhat solidified.

That was seen at UCF. The players early season were not always the ones late season. You earn it every day with these guys.

That is a bold prediction.  I would be shocked if our offensive captains were anything other than Stanley Morgan and Tanner Farmer.
