Knapp - I hope this is serious enough. I want to say I have great appreciation for those who are mods. It takes a lot of thick skin, patience, willingness to be called unfair, partial, and biased. I know, because I was a mod on another forum previously to coming to HB. To be a good mod, you have to put yourself above the fray to a certain extent and look objectively at what is being posted. It is hard to do that. You don't loose your opinion when you post, but you have to throw out any bias to deal fairly with others when they mess up. It is often a thankless job. In some ways, it can remove the 'fun' out of the forum (become more like a job) as you have to 'set an example' and not tee off on someone just because you want to. So to those new mods to be - best wishes as you take on this role and many thanks to those 'old mods' and those new ones to be. HB does give those of us far from Lincoln an opportunity to feel the connection wt the Huskers. Thank-you mods for working to make it a good place to connect.
