Holding this sign, they are explicitly there to support trump, and wearing those Habits they are specifically representing the Church.

There's a clear difference between being a member of a religious community and being a representative of that community, much like a person can be a member of a political party but not be that party's representative.

A quick google shows there were quite a few Nuns vocally supporting trump through the campaign. That's troubling.

Not having any sex during the course of your life is obviously detrimental to brain function. 

 
There's a raft of things wrong with this story.

I am 100% against ministers endorsing candidates. That should not happen in a country where we celebrate the separation of church & state.

This dude, at 21, should not be a licensed minister. That seems wildly irresponsible. Especially after a one-year internship.

If this is the competence of ministerial care offered by the Southern Baptist Church, I think people would be better off alone at home with their Bible.

This dude should absolutely have been defrocked for doing this.
