Weird Time for Christians

Remember that high school coach who got suspended allegedly over praying at midfield but really over just continuously disobeying school district policy? Well he won his supreme court case, has a book and a new career as a public speaker, and resigned after one game because even though he told the court he was anxiously awaiting his ruling so he could go back to Washington and retain his old job, he was obviously lying. The grift is real.

Don't normal courts get pretty pissed when they get bamboozled like this? Don't they usually sanction the lawyers?

What's the name of that book?  Eat, Pray, Resign?

Hey there's that "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour" thing again.  I guess we'll just gloss over that in the name of Christianity

Poll: Republicans see Trump as a ‘person of faith’ ... more so than Mitt Romney, Mike Pence and others

https://www.deseret.com/2023/9/26/23891360/trump-biden-man-of-faith-religious-mitt-romney-vivek-ramaswamy

Among Republicans, 53% said Trump was a person of faith, ahead of every other person on the list — although he was statistically tied with Pence, who came in at 52%.

Only 23% of Republicans said Biden is a person of faith, while 12% said the same of Vice President Kamala Harris.
