We're still relevant nationally.

It's fair. We are in a race with Illinois to the cellar of the Big Ten under this inept staff. This is the company we will keep so long as Mike Riley is our head coach. Need to take measures to ensure his losing culture doesn't totally take over the program. It's poisonous.
Exactly. Mike Riley is a great guy, and I have all the respect in the world for him. I just really don't want him or any of these guys outside Parrella on the sidelines leading the boys in red. We won't be any better as long has he's head coach.

It is truly a national declaration  on the state of our program.  We are now a school to be played to pad ones stats......This is how far we have fallen.  Possibly a statement on the authors belief in our staff...

Whatever the decision, please do something to fix this current staff or the next....

We haven't played OSU close since what our first season in B1G?  History shows it is a good game for them to pad their stats which predates Riley.  Last year I was fooled into thinking the blowouts were behind us but again we had already chalked it up as a loss and didn't bother to show up.  Hopefully the next staff can change that mindset.

We've only played Ohio State 3 times if you don't count the two times before 1960...

Bo did get blown out in Columbus, but he didn't get 63-3 blown out.

I wasn't even that big of fan of Bo, but quite honestly, I kind of miss him. This new staff is embarrassing. It's more of a conversation piece to talk about how bad the Huskers are and talk to my friends about how good Iowa looks this year.

Bo with Ndamukong, and then healthy T-Magic was fun. (That thursday K-State game was amazing to be at!!!)

Funny, reminiscing about Bo's good ol'days.  Thats what we have become.  Our current coach always sucks, and the last one had better stats.  I'm sure we had some doing that when Bo took over about Callahan.............NAH!

Because 63-38 meltdown in 2012 was so much better?

I remember it sucked. But we also beat them in a pretty exciting game the previous year. Additionally, Ohio state was probably the best team in the country that year. The only reason 2012 really sucked was because our loss to OSU and Wisconsin. It seemed like we couldn't win the big games.

But all of that, in reality and in retrospect, is infinitely better than struggling to beat bottom-tier teams and losing to non-p5 opponents.

So yes. It was so much better. And I'm not afraid to admit that.

I mean .... it still sucked.  But we were at least competent on one side of the ball.  38 points is more than we've scored on any Power 5 team in the last year and a half.  If you offered me 38 points against tOSU this year I think I'd jump at it in a heartbeat.

It's just sad that we're talking about which time we gave up 60+ to OSU was the most pleasant.
