Were we better last year?

Riley won 4 games.  I think we will be lucky to four games this year.

Our offense line is nothing- too slow and not skilled.  They are incompetent.

The defense lacks aces discipline taking themselves out of the position too many times.  They often give too many yards after contact.

If Michigan is a Big 10 Power, then the Huskers are a high school team.

I think Frost has a 2-3 year build job ahead of him.   How do you recruit quality position players when your program has been sucking gas for three years?

Just so I understand - we're gonna use the same defense that we used for Mike Riley's first year, and we're comfortable with it being a good justification?

No he didn't.

Yes, he did.  We were lucky to win those 4 games last year

No, he said that last week. Some things he DID say before the season were, "This isn't a rebuilding year", and "this isn't year zero". He did say some other things to temper expectations, but he very clearly made a bad assessment in where we were.
You’re right, think I’m still drunk from last night.

I'm pretty much in favor of giving Frost Kirk Ferentz status here until he's ready to retire, but I can't be the only one to find humor in this level of mental gymnastics to defend the unsatisfactory job he's done so far, right?
You’re right, it should not be this bad and coaches are partially to blame but I think we have a bunch of scrubs for players.  They’re not all bad but seems there’s more bad than good to me.

It shows how very far Huskers had fallen under the past coaches.  I believe Frost will get them back on track but it will take time. The culture has to be overturned completely.

When Martinez is healthy and we are willing to run him, I think we are better this year. When we play Bunch or limit Martinez in the run game, we are no better than last year and arguably worse bc we don't have Lee.
