I’ll agree with you it’s a disjointed affair. But the first half of our offense doing absolutely nothing and leaving our defense out on the field did them zero favors and clearly played a role.They were on the field that 3rd quarter drive for almost 8-9 minutes. The AM on the next series takes the ball to the house and they are right back out. Needed the TD. You take what you can get, but it is like the O, D and ST are 3 seperate teams that do not communicate. One does not try to help the other. It is a disjointed affair at best.
if we’re being honest that first Illinois drive in the 2nd half is exactly what we used to do consistently for decades.
