I don’t think the coaches overlook anyone. I think the coaches made a bad plan

The Nebraska Football program is extremely mentally fragile. Probably moreso than any team in major organized sports.

The feeling that the wheels are coming off the wagon permeates through this team like no other. The way they lose games in stunning similar ways through slight differences in circumstance borders on bizarre, and nearly statistically impossible.

At some point poor planning and overlooking an opponent become synonymous and the result is the same - another loss

It’s pretty telling that we seem to have just anointed a true freshman as one of the key leaders. Regardless if he’s a 5 star- we seem to really lack any form of accountability from a player perspective.

perhaps this is just the end result when said upperclassmen players that typically serve this role have displayed nothing but a losing culture here.

They have to find a way to get 6 wins with this manageable schedule.  A 5-7 season again would lead to an incredibly negative and toxic offseason.  No momentum whatsoever and probably hemorrhage some talented recruits.  Even if they do get to 6; I think most people believe there will be some current assistants looking for jobs next year.  Rhule's bar next year to clear is probably 8 wins at minimum.

Please do not try to make excuses for Satt. A monkey can now predict what Satt is going to do in a game. Even our trick plays barely get us a first down. Satt is a very bad OC. And that is sugarcoating it.
As for why every QB shines when they play us, the answer is simple, this is our new identity. We make average players look like world beaters. It is one of our many super powers among choking in close games, pissing our pants in November, and not making a bowl. The reason, we fail to hire the right coach for Big 10 football. Can you imagine what a Cignetti can do with the resources and talent at Nebraska? Instead we have clowns like Satt and Foley and master of BS Rhule making excuses for why they have one win in one score games and zero wins against ranked opponents. Can’t wait to see what BS we will be fed after we finish 5-7 again. 

 
I learned everything is the same. 

we will lose to Wisc 21-17

we will lose to Iowa 35-3 

we will lose to USC, after being up early

21-7,   35-14

every crap program has a glimmer. But we have nothing despite having everything. 

we WERE blue blood.  We are not blue blood anymore. We are not respected, we don’t matter, no one talks about us, we are a W for other teams, we don’t show up, we don’t have an identity, we haven’t been to a bowl in 8 yrs, we haven’t won a top 25 game in a dozen years or more, we don’t compete, we don’t have anything that defines us, we don’t have any m’fing ballers. We don’t have any nasty, any push, stress, urgency, complication, energy, electricity, or desire.  
we have +85k show up so it looks cool. 
we have a $250M+ facility, we have indoor and outdoor facilities, we have state of the art weights and training, food, nutrition, gear, swag, pics, media, social media, girls who suck the D, national tv audience, B1G money, a brand and private jets. 
 

cut all that s#!t out and just put a product we can believe in and cheer for. Spoiled a$$ m’fing players who didn’t earn one damn thing they sit on, coaches who should win cuz of all of the above, and yet they have no juice, no energy, no electricity, no f’ing ballers, no trench, no mother f#&%ing nothing. We have nothing. Just a bunch of spoiled brats who get all the services to them when they walk in the door but haven’t done one  mother f#&%ing thing to earn it. 

make them take the train or a commercial flight. Let them eat off campus and be poor broke college kids. What the f#&% have any of our players earned to get all the s#!t they get for free and sit like kings while we can’t beat Illinois or UCLA. get curb stomped by IU, and lose to tOSU. Next week we lose. Then the next. 
yet, the players and coaches have nice cool food tables and top shelf offices to sit in. f#&% this s#!t. Stop spoiling these brats that can’t win, especially the coaches. Take away the keys to the Ferrari until they learn to drive the Jalopy. 

f#&% this s#!t, we spoil these coaches and players and they haven’t earned s#!t since 2016. And we sucked then too

I’ve been thinking about this a lot.  We have the money, the facilities and the history.  We just flat out suck.

I think our million  $ QB could be an issue in the long run.  We are all show and no go.

I was wondering if we took our NIL $s and just raided FCS.  Put together a squad of winners.  Not 4 star high school kids or 5 star rejects from other programs.  It’ll never happen, but I fear we are going nowhere.

I think the UCLA coaches made an extraordinarily good plan.  I saw it on-field, and there are a couple of articles about that plan in the Sunday Journal Star.  Their D plan was effective and unchanged for all 4 quarters.  It worked.  And here we are with an unexpected loss here at Memorial Stadium (again).  I do agree with the anemic way our O is run, saying bad plan about that seems an understatement as we watch our team sink as the season wears on (again).

We are a joke.  These teams love making us look stupid and I don’t blame them.

 
I learned that im done for the rest of the year.  I am just tired of this, just so dam tired of fixing mistakes only to highlight new ones.  Im tired of losing to teams we should stomp.  Im tired of the hype videos and dramatic media coverage.  Im so sorry to say but im also tired of Rhule coach speak.  I can give time to beat ranked teams, i can give time to beat the higher talented teams but what i cant give any more time for is this horses#!t that was put on the field yesterday.  I have better things to do with my time and energy than just piss it away every saturday and watch what is carted out there.  Maybe some are right, maybe we should of never came here.  Its not talent, its coaching.  How could bo do more with less.  Its coaching, plane and simple.
