What did we learn UCLA edition

We’ve watched the last two coaches ‘fire their friends’ to save their jobs. It didn’t work. Always feels like a half measure. But what else can you do after year two I guess?
I hope the difference this time around is we’re pushing this midway thru year 2 and not year 4 like we did with frosty

According to Collin miller it’s because the fans didn’t stand for 4 hours straight
Reminds me of a lady in Minneapolis during 2021 I think when I went to the Minnesota game.  She flipped back and forth between yelling at Frost for being a pu**y and at yelling at fans around her for not standing and cheering on the team constantly.  We lost that game and played like crap, that was the game Yant tripped over nothing at the 3 and we didn't score.

I couldn’t recall that game at all until you mentioned the yant trip and it all came flooding back. We’ve had quite the run of not only boneheaded coaches but players that simply aren’t cut out for the big stage

I've been hearing all this "Brian Ferentz West" offense crap the last couple days. I just want everyone to know, I take great offense to this.

Because we don't win at near enough of a clip to deserve that nickname.

Holy sh!t...where's the Tylonol?

First, no.

Second, I don't think we get any points for what could have been.
It was absolutely two drops.   The third is a play that is really tough but makeable

you are correct on your second point though.   Not sure what the point is though, because the more catches a team makes vs dropping good passes, the better chance for points

Dana Holgorsen?  OK I’m listening.  I’m thinking up tempo, get the ball out, throw to RBs, use of slot receivers is key.  Feeling Big 12-ish offense.  We could probably execute this vs heavy run as we don’t have those backs or OL at this time.

Such a weird decision to start Charles.  I don't think he played poorly but was a step slow and got beat three times on their first possession.

The odd thing is Hill was available.  Not even on the injury report.  But we started Charles anyway.  Then we yanked Charles after about eight plays and Hill played the rest of the game.  If Hill was available, why did we run a guy out there who has barely played?
