What Did We Learn - Wisconsin Edition

I learned we would have beat USC if we’d hired Holgorsen 1 week earlier.

My thought during that game was there was still a little too much influence on the offense from Satterfield and/or the position coaches. The most telling thing to me was we still threw it to Fidone at or behind the line of scrimmage (more than once) and we were still calling plays that our WRs sucked at blocking on, and still playing Dowdell too much. I hoped he just needed a bit more time to figure out what was wrong, and that’s how it feels to me now.

This is why fan boards are...difficult. None of this happened.

Fidone didn't have 1 catch today. I don't think he even had a target. I'm pretty sure they pulled him after the false start.

Dowdell was used as a change of pace back and had 3 touchdowns, and I believe had some big 3rd down conversions.

I'd have to go look at the WR blocking again but Banks had a huge block on one of the TD's. I don't remember there being nearly as many bad pass plays to the perimeter.

Not only did this not happen but 4 people clicked the TBH button. People just see what they want to. Assign blame to the people they've already decided need to be blamed.

Moiraine is talking about last week's game. Not today.

A competent coach can really make a difference.

As a run the damn ball guy, was concerned about Dana, but dude knows how to run the ball.

Fidone absent all game, but the penalty.

Didn't see (might have missed Clark).

DB's needs a lot of work.

Barney has a ton of potential.

EJ has a ton of potential.

Who are our big body receivers for next year.

Glad seniors finally get a bowl.

Still amazing a guy making $1.4 million couldn't see what Dana saw in 3 weeks and couch coaches have known since last year, but Satt still couldn't see it.

Feels good.  I mean down in your bones good we are finally going bowling.  Might be the hardest tickets to get tbh.  We are some rabid a$$ fans.

I'd have rushed the field as well.

Agreed! Not a single negative yardage play happened for us today when I felt like we were averaging maybe 8-10 of those a game most weeks?

Our offense finally found themselves, although two dropped TDs.

The defense will have to play better to beat Iowa.

i want 7 wins, so we get a winning season.  2 games to do it in, but I'd prefer the Iowa game over the bowl if I had to choose one.
