What Did We Learn - Wisconsin Edition

Does anyone else feel like this was like our IU game to Wisconsin?  Like they blew their load against Oregon kinda like we did against OSU.  Play really well against a really good team then have a massive let down.  I'm just not ready for a let down come friday like the offense comes back down to earth.

They were also missing the best player on their defense, Wohler. I'm not expecting to score 40+ on Iowa, but I think we'll see another good performance - Raiola looked comfortable again and didn't have any "what was that?" throws. Our guys also hate Iowa, and Wisconsin players really don't care about Nebraska and expected us to roll over. So I'm hopeful we come out with the same level of play on offense.

 
It was good to see Umanmielen out there and playing well - felt like he hadn't been out there as much and I was (and still am to a degree) worried he was on his way out. Dude just oozes athleticism.

We really need to find a #2 corner. Buford and Hartzog get picked on with jump balls. Charles got a shot against UCLA but wasn't ready. Seeing Blye Hill was cool, and solid first impression with the forced fumble before half. But he got cooked on that last TD - Singleton probably should have been over the top, but it was a rough rep.

The good news is Iowa doesn't have any big receivers, so if it were me I'd go with Hartzog/Buford again. But for the bowl game/next year, somebody has to step up out there. We are really fortunate that Ceyair Wright did on one side.

I think you got your timelines off.

We got housed by Indiana then played OSU tough.

Wisconsin played Oregon tough then got housed by us.

 
Dang. You're right lol.  I now remember thinking we were gonna get steam rolled by OSU after taking a beating from IU.  I was at the damn IU game too.  But you get what I mean with Wisc
