Just curious what others do, when our game is played late evening.

Got up at 3:00pm Friday to get ready for work. Work from 6:00pm-6:00am. Get home around 6:30, start packing the big red unit (truck) with tv, satelite dish, receiver, speakers, food, chairs, etc. Try to nap for a couple of hours. (Already know thats not going to happen)

Get to tailgate in lot 21(saltdogs parking lot) at around 10:00-10:30am. Eat, drink :wasted and have some fun, until 5:30pm and then head to the stadium.

Get back to tailgate around 11:30- 12:00, eat again, and start packing stuff back into my big red unit. Head home about 1:00-1:30. Sound like a looooong day?

Nah, its gonna be fun.

GBR!!

It's time to :restore2 :power

Go for a run. Watch my nephew play football. Watch the other games and start getting food ready for the night. Get drunk and watch the 'Skers pound the badgers.

Used to live in Manhattan KS. Just a 90 mile drive to college football utopia. Now we're in Phoenix and I'll have to settle for directv on my 70" and snuggle with my cornfed girl :-)

Waking up at 7am, driving to my dad's house, eat breakfast, start the 6 hour drive to Lincoln around 8ish. Drive directly to Big Red Keno and start the drinking. Take the shuttle to the stadium, watch us win, take the shuttle back to Big Red Keno, enjoy 2 for 1 24oz beers.

Morning games I leave the day before at 5pm.

This year C-Bear is parting in Lincoln w/friends so... T_O_B has Battery and the rest of the crew coming over for CBBDB part II on T-Cap's Husker Heaven Deck. Lots of adult beverages, music, a replay of the '97 Orange Bowl (Manning even whinned like a little b!^@h then), and ofcourse T_O_B's famous vegetable beef soup that features ground pork and sweet Italian sausage inplace of beef. After the game 3 fire pits will be lighted and the music will get louder. All alcohol must be consumed before the shindig ends, hopefully a bit early for tomorrow is an NFL Sunday. Rides will be provided for all who are not fit to drive home.
