What if we *did* get rid of P&R?

I was on a board that split off from another board, and immediately banned politics and religion. It was definitely more relaxed and collegial. 

But the same people sought out their political venting elsewhere, mostly on Facebook. 

As I've said many times, the P&R Forum on Huskeboard is the best I've encountered. A lot of people who can't be pigeonholed by their current or past political affiliations, and a lot of interesting arguments backed with logic and links. I've learned a lot from this place, and it's made me really think before I post. 

Since there are many other forums that prohibit P&R, I don't see the problem. It's as simple as not clicking on a discussion you don't want to have. 

That's why I have no idea what you guys are talking about regarding some woman spamming her favorite recipes.
