I didn't realize both Gunnerson and Hahn walked for Senior Day.  Both are fourth-year sophomores.

Hahn was on the field here and there and actually got more snaps down the stretch but I could see him calling it a career if he doesn't think he'll ever really be in the mix.

Gunnerson is surprising.  He was a starter at the beginning of the year.  Although his snap count dropped considerably in B1G play.

It doesn't mean either has to leave but it's probably leaning that way.

Didn't Gunnerson hurt his shoulder again?  Thought that's why he wasn't playing

  • Joshua Fleeks
  • Billy Kemp
  • IGC and Marcus Washington (could likely get injury waivers)
  • Nouredin Nouili
  • Luke Reimer
  • Quinton Newsome
  • Phalen Sanford
  • Marco Ortiz

But the list of guys with only a covid year left is much more extensive and many of them will choose or be encouraged to move on.

Yeah, I would have been surprised if he tried to come back. Sounds like his last recovery was really difficult, and he's just been beat up his whole career. Grinding 9-10 months of rehab and then trying to get into playing shape to maybe play a game or two at the end of the year when you'll be 24 would be insane.

 
Curious what Bullock decides to do. If he leaves, Gbayor and Wright are the only two non-jack LBs with any legit playing experience.
