What question would you like to have Mike Riley answer 100% honestly?

Do you get weird mail about how great you are?

Sharp & Benning were talking about this topic this morning.  Sharp said he would ask Riley "Were you hired to be a care-taker coach for a few year, and was Diaco hired to take over the head coaching job when 'he was ready'"

I would ask him "Do you think you were about to be fired from Oregon State when Eichorst offered the NU job?"

I know that there was a thread about asking questions in a press conference, but this seems like a different thread.  I think we can make this more "big picture" and "program-related" questions, rather than individual game questions.  What would be good questions for Riley?
Oregon State didn't have the money to buy him out.  So, no, he wasn't going to be fired by OSU.

I'd ask, "Did you do your best to bring a championship caliber team to Nebraska?"  I'd ask this because I think he came here chasing a paycheck instead of working his butt off to win.

Maybe not...but like any good boss will tell you...all you gotta do is start making their life miserable.

1.  Mike you need to fire this guy

2.  Mike you need to fire this guy

3.  Mike we just managed to beef up the Non-Con schedule with games at Bama and at Clemson...

4.  Mike we were able to sell a home game this year so you have 3 straight on the road

5.  Mike gonna need you to can this guy from your staff

In all seriousness, I would ask him what he felt was the most difficult part of holding the job here at Nebraska.  I'm guessing it would have something to do with the fish bowl effect we place coaches in.
