I started chatting on an IRC channel just when the internet was taking off (for normal people).

Dunno why, but my 14-yr-old self went with:

I used to go into chat rooms while I was in high school (I promised it was cool then) and use the name Sylvestro...the ladies dug it. At least they said they were ladies.

 
Mine was JJHusker1....stupid, I know. I wanted it to be just JJHusker but had to add a number cuz some other doofus had already used it.

 
knapplc, have been for 19 years.

We have 19-year-old members on HuskerBoard. Meaning I've been going by this name as long as they've been going by their real name. This is just about my "real" name these days.
