What’s up with Micah Mazzccua?

This isn't a criticism, but the Nebraska beat writers often praise Rhule for being transparent because he provides access to random staff members.  But, regarding real issues he's like a press secretary.  Saturday, "I'll address that next week".  Next week, "he's working through stuff".  Again, I don't care if neglects to address issues like Fields, Cooper, Gilbert, or Mazzccua head on because he's protecting his guys and minimizing distractions, but access to the support staff isn't transparency.

With respect to Mazzccua, you can't be too sensitive to handle criticism, constructive or otherwise in football.

Mazzcua obviously has anger management issues and I'm willing to bet a slight problem with authority.  Rhule has known him for a long time.  If he thinks he can sit him for a game or two and help him I'm all for it.

People saying he’s done? Anyone else hearing this or have any proof of this being the case.

a report this morning that he was seen at Epply this morning in route to San Francisco. Not sure if there is any truth to it, but definitely a huge loss if true!

It was on 1620, so probably a truth.

what a distraction.  Glad I didn’t invest in learning to pronounce his name.

My guess - either he's pulling a Matthew Sluka (now former UNLV QB) in preserving a year to play somewhere else next year or he's heading to a treatment facility. Hoping whatever he's doing, he gets his life in order and works towards his goals.
