I won't pretend I know what inspired Rhule to go full coach Prime and publicly put a player in his place, but it seems pretty clear MM blew some pass pro's, & hasn't handled what followed well.   I've seen players with disciplinary issues like this my entire life.  They think a couple days of good behavior undoes what was done.  When they realize the climb is stepper, they spin out again.   It seems obvious that is where MM is today.

I’m old enough to remember fans complaining because XYZ player is in coach’s “dog house” like it’s the coach’s fault.
