What's Your Phone History?

Inspired by a typical teach-centered tangent in the politics forum, how many and which phones do you remember having throughout your lifetime?

I think my first was a Nokia 6010

Next was, I think, something incredibly similar to this if not this one:

Then came my first camera phone, the Audiovox CDM 8910

Somewhere in the next few years I had both of these sliding/flipping qwerty keyboard phones

I know there were a few others in there, but then I finally got a hand me down of the original Droid (years after it was any good), then a hand me down Droid X, then finally got onto the iphone bandwagon with the 5S, then a 7 that got replaced by an 8 for free, then a free friend's iPhone XS after my 8 took a dive into the Chattahoochee river, then most recently a 12 Pro Max.

I don't remember.

But somewhere around 1999-2003 I had a cell phone with an antenna which I was told to use during emergencies. I think I made one phone call on it.

Then I think I went cell phone-less for awhile, then got a flip phone which I used for texting for the first time.

Then a long time later I was super late to the smart phone party and I think I got the first iphone SE. I remember hating that I couldn't feel the buttons. I think that was around 2010-2013. Edit: well the internet says the SE came out 2016, but I know I had an iphone before then. Just don't know which.

Did no one else have a Motorola bag phone??!! It was the best thing ever. Plugged into the cig lighter in your vehicle and got great service. That was my first.

This was my first one.

I remember thinking how novel and cool it was to have a freaking phone in the truck. Haha, no apps, no internet, no text….just the ability to make a phone call.

My dad had one of those from work. We thought it was so cool at the time.

That bag phone was fantastic.

My best friend in high school had that same phone.

My first cellphone was one of the 90s Nokia bricks.  I lost it at a party once, when I went back the next day to find it, the leather case had tire marks on it.  It literally got ran over by at least one car and worked fine.

It's been Samsungs for me since smartphones have been a thing.

I've had just about every phone in this thread.  Plus.....nobody could beat:

I bet I destroyed 3-4 of these on job sites.

I believe this in black, with a very very bulky black leather case that wrapped the entire thing, was my mom's first cell phone circa ~2001 or so.
