Where do you get your Music from

I was just wondering where you guys get your music from. I know the board cannot allow anything illegal and I don't want any viruses, but I am tired of paying 99 cents a song from I-Tunes, so I was wondering if there are any good, safe, and legal places to get free music to put on my Ipod

The board isn't the boss of me, so I get my music illegally.

Also, there is no such thing as a legal AND free place to get music, unless you already own the songs you are downloading.

Actually there are sites that some how networks so you can get free music. Usually they are for college students, and are sponsered by the colleges. But since I am not in college I cannot use them. I was just wondering if any of you knew anything like that for everyone.

Also I wasn't trying to say anything bad about illegal music downloading, just saying that the board will have to delete it. As I am typing this I am laughing because I am trying to appologize for saying something about doing something illegal( I know it isn't that bad, but it is technically illegal, just like stealing)

If you can Super installed on your PC (have you tried uninstalling and then re-installing?), you can usually find high quality youtube vids that you can extract the audio from. It's a fairly short process, but is legal to do. Steps are:

1. Find the YouTube video you want to get audio from and copy the URL.

2. Go to KeepVid and paste your link in the space provided and then select "YouTube" from the drop down. Click the Download button.

3. You'll then be given options as to what extension to save to. I always save as a .flv because the audio is about the same and the file size is smaller.

4. Save it to a location on your PC ( remember to give it a name with *.flv extension )

5. Use Super to extract the audio as a *.mp3 file ( output container to mp3 (audio only) )
