Dear Huskerboard leaders,

Well you have probably been wondering where the hell I’ve been. You may not have even noticed or are even pissed. I apologize either way, you have a right to feel the way you do.

My family has a lot going on, nothing really out of the ordinary but young kids (one special needs), my wife is now a supervisor and has tons of work at home, and lots of after school activities. I’m in the process of changing employment as well, so that’s a bit stressful and have decided to return to school full time AGAIN!. Regardless, I’m still here on the board just not nearly as active as I was and probably will never be as I was when I had none of the above.

I think everything is running fine you guys are doing a wonderful job. You always know you can contact me through the board or email; I generally get back the same day or within 24 hours. I will never leave for good that’s for sure, but I simply don’t have the time I once did. Thanks for all your time and energy you have put into the board.

Please reply with questions or comments about the board or myself, I’m pretty transparent about these things.

I realized you'd been gone more than here, but I also know real life has a way of intruding on our forum time.

Don't stress if you're not able to be here enough. If enough of us have too much R/L stuff going on, we can always draft more Mods to help out. So far I think things are OK, but we have enough good eggs among the members that we could get more help if needed.

Hope everything goes well with your job change. And good luck at school. Finally going after that GED?

Anyway, as John Lennon sang, "Life is what happens to you when you're making other plans." It happens to everyone. Come around when you can. And remember - we have BRI. He's kind of an "ETR Lite"...

 
It's good Eric. You shouldn't even feel bad. you'll always be one of the behind the scenes head honchos here whether you're posting or not ;)
