Who are some of your all time favorites?

scott frost

ahman green

The age i became conscious/understanding of football as a young kid, these guys were around and made me a fan. First jersey bought for me: number 30, husker red.

I second Dejuan Groce....great punt returner.

Enjoyed the bullocks brothers on D in the Bo Pelini D.

Loved Eric Crouch's speed

Scott Frost's toughness and running style.

Keithen McCant (first husker QB I saw back in 91)

Calvin Jones

Matt Davison (all because of one catch)

Jamaal Lord (the guy could had a strong running style)

Demorrio williams

Plus the obvious others (frazier, green, suh, henery, berringer, turman)

All time least favorite....

J Lord throwing the deep ball and getting occassional personal foul for stiff arms

Dan Alexander/Corell Buckhaulter and the fumbling disaster of the 98 season

Judd Davies and that 4th down pass in the Independence bowl

Grant Wistrom - Whatever the guy lacked in physical ability he made up for in sheer will power and motor. Tough not to admire that.

Suh - Of course.

Scott Frost - the speech he made in '97 to the cameras demanding a share of the National Title after beating Tennessee was stellar. He was such a passionate player.

Zac Taylor

Joe Ganz

Corey "the porkchop" Ross

Mo Purify

Suh

Bullucks brothers

All-time favorite was probably eric crouch though, i still watch his highlights to pass the time

Tommie Frazier

Ndamukong Suh

Mike Rozier

Barron Miles

Lawrence Phillips

Ahman Green

Scott Frost

Eric Crouch

Jared Tomich

Grant Wistrom

Can't disagree with any listed so far.

One of my all-time favorites was Kenny Walker. To have done all that he did, as a deaf player, was pretty incredible.

Vince Ferragamo

Turner Gill

I.M. Hipp

Mike Rozier

Roger Craig

Tom Rathman

Irving Fryar

Dave Rimmington

Dean Steinkuhler

Johnny Mitchell

Neal Smith

Grant Wistrom

Trev Alberts

Tyrone Hughes

Mike Brown

Ralph Brown

Amongst others......

Agreed all around.

Funny story. The year that Frost took over for Frazier I was about 7 and too young to understand the 4 year eligabilty rule in college sports. When Frost took the field I cried and cried because I wanted to watch touchdown Tommie play; I was SOOOOOOO convinced that they were just being mean to him by not letting him play. Nobody was going to convince me otherwise. :)
