I think it's a clear choice now. McCaffrey had 2 fewer completions today than Martinez, on 15 fewer attempts. McCaffrey also had more yards per attempt. He is also much more decisive when it comes to choosing to run and then during the actual run. Martinez has regressed in every aspect of the game.

luke is the more accurate passer...by far judging just from todays game.    i didn't get to watch the first game so can't comment on any more then that

 
If Martinez could throw the ball he should start, but I feel like something is wrong with him. Luke has a lot more upside with his speed, elusiveness, and serviceability in the passing game. That said he won't make it through a whole season if he has to run this much.

Go with McCaffrey, and the rest of the young guns.  There are a lot of talented, but inexperienced players in Lincoln.  Get them on the field in what is basically a throw away year.  Get them some game experience, now.  No more 'stockpiling' good players for 'sometime' in the future.  Either the future is now, or there is no future basically.  If Martinez can win the spot back in practice, then great.   Otherwise give McCaffery and the younger fellas their shot.

 
After watching this I think Luke has the moxie and the want to,  but he looks not great throwing the ball. Adrian is a head case and has the yips, probably a terminal case. We should win more with Luke, I get why they want Martinez to start, he is way more talented as a passer but has just lost it.

Get the young kids in, especially at WR. Get the talent on the field and lower the barriers to entry. Faulk and Warner will never get it done, ever. Sorry people, that is a fact.

I'd be shocked if Nebraska won more than 2 games this season

 
Neither...just call Martinez a running back and don't let him throw the ball.  The only offense you have is the QB draw anyway so why bother even trying to throw it?
