Who should our next HC be?

If we hire Jamey Chadwell it would be like stepping on a rake, getting hit in the face, turning around, stepping on a rake, and getting hit in the face.

The only difference this time is that the rake didn't go to Nebraska.

Campbell moved them to more of a sprinting strength and conditioning platform as opposed to grind the kids to death like we do in Lincoln now. They lost to Louisiana-Lafayette first game after changing that, and people just were all over Campbell saying “see, it doesn’t work”. They end up playing in the conference title game that year, lose to Oklahoma, but then they roll Oregon in the Fiesta bowl.

No thanks. He doesn't make programs better, he just might win you games. Nebraska doesn't need to become more like Urban Meyer.

He just might win you games no HE WILL win you games. That's all that it comes down to. Winning or losing and no offense Nebraska has been so called losers since the last 20 years. Nobody will ever remember Callahan, Pelini, Riley or Frost for their winning. Nebraska absolutely needs to be like Urban Meyer without all the shenanigans.

Urban Meyer is walking shenanigans. They go hand in hand. Nobody outside of Columbus or Gainesville remember those eras positively. Florida is still trying to right the wrongs a decade later and Day has luckily stop-gapped the bleeding from further rot. Urban has also never done a P5 rebuild. He honestly hasn't done a rebuild outside of Bowling Green and that was just a 2-year stint.

Nebraska doesn't need to rebuild Urban Meyer would bring instance credibility with his name. Go look at his record bc his record speaks for him he was won EVERYWHERE he has coached.

I understand Trev wants a man of integrity. So say Urban is interested make it perfectly clear there isn't going to be any distractions with him not tolerated. I think Urban knows that and would understand that. When Trev said he wants grinders guys that hate to lose you can't think of someone else better then him. Urban Meyer is a grinder all the way.
