Who should our next HC be?

I'm favoring Aranda right now if we make a change.....and hopefully keeping Mickey Joseph on the staff. Everyone associated with Joseph is doing good. We need a defensive mind badly. Maybe Leonhard the DC at Wiscy with the #1 run defense, but I don't think we want to try out an assistant as a HC unless they had previous HC experience or are for sure all that.

Wow just wow. Are you serious? Im speechless in the fact that you honestly think that Urban Meyer couldn't recruit here and that he could magically win?? You need to watch more football to understand why Urban would work. Go watch past games that Urban coached im not talking about Ohio State or Florida bc your going to use the argument that he so called had easy talent to get but Utah and Bowling Green. His teams were fundamental sound, played hard nose football and HE put his teams in the best position to succeed. So their is one reason another reason is recruits want to play for winners and thats all he ever has done. Third he has WON at every stop he has been and finally he has won 3 national championships. Not one but 3. So he has had continually and consistently won. Nebraska deserves greatness and even if Urban comes here and doesn't deliver a championship he certainly would have them back up there in conversation every year. There isn't a better football coach in America then Urban Meyer. It would be a shame to see another program hire Urban Meyer and watch their success and watch Nebraska settle for a coach and subpar coaching and battle to not fall deeper into a hole. If Nebraska wants to be a powerhouse program again go get a powerhouse coach. It's that simple!!!!

 
I think if Urban Meyer was really a legitimate possibility we would be hearing a lot more buzz especially due to the fact he’s actually in Lincoln. Some people say that Trev actually reached out to him, but I’ve also heard Nebraska wasn’t interested

So for all the “well Urban coached at OSU and Florida and they why he had success” crowd.   Why don’t you take a quick gander and the coaching record of all those who came after UM.   He had three 13-1 records and his worst was 8-5.  
 

If it was so easy for UM because of the recruiting hotbed, why hasn’t anyone else come remotely to UM’s level of success there?

Urban is one of a handful of coaches I think can win anywhere
