Well then, if we really want Iowa-Nebraska to heat up, what we need is for a popular (and good-not likely) Iowa player to get Ferentz's daughter pregnant and then come down with a life threatening disease and keep reminding the Iowa fans about the coaches daughter.
I agree the Nebraska team needs to ratchet up the intensity but I'm not sure we could ever recreate the 90's NU-CU atmosphere. It might help if either of the coaches had daughters younger than 40+.

Can't hate. Iowa has owned us the past few years.... Stomped a mud hole in us last year. OL has had issues for years...... Time for the Huskers to step up. Play with intensity. Beat that a$$.
Zero chance of this happening for two reasons: 1) Iowa will always be several steps behind NU in regards to tradition 2) Unlikely that the trend of the past 4 years continue much longer

I think Hulk Hogan needs to have a smack off against Brian Ferentz. Because let me tell you this brother, I don't care if Iowa will hold their commitment to an offer. I don't care if they can coach. Nebraska, and the Hulkster are crossing a whole lotta corn fields, and coming to get that belt,(or maybe a heroes trophy)!!! 29-15-3! Whatcha Gonna Do Brother?

Have to agree with teachercd. Have not seen anything that would say our pipeline is coming back. We still don't know what the o-line will be like this year. It would be great if this year starts to be the rebuilding of one. I'm sure we all hope that's the case. The tradition we once had in the 0-line, has just been a memory for some time now.

Meanwhile, we walk recruits past a parade of awards and national championship trophies. We have cool nicknames like Pipeline and Blackshirts.
None of that matters on game day though and that's where we need to step up. We need to out recruit and outplay them. Until that happens I just have to grit my teeth and bear the fact that wins matter, they won last time out...bigly

The skers need to take these games more seriously because since we've entered the B1G, Iowa has showed up where we haven't which is disappointing.
I've been saying for years that Iowa hates Nebraska more than what we feel about them. That needs to change and not just with Iowa but with Wisconsin too but Wisconsin, they don't give two sh*ts about Nebraska
