Why the sweatshirt?

it's bo's 'thing'. he wore the same type of thing at lsu. probably wore the same thing at oklahoma and nebraska in '03.

of all things to call him on, i think what he wears is pretty low on the list.

 
Dan McCarney used to wear this ugly red jogging suit on the sidelines...whenever he sweated (and believe me...when it was hot, the guy sweated buckets) it made him look like he had a bladder control problem...

I have not got a problem with casual attire on the sideline....

 
It amuses me that in college this kind of discussion can come up. In the NFL they WANT you to wear sweatshirts, jackets, anything that has Reebok on it. Anyone hear how big a deal they made when Mike Nolan wanted to wear a suit for a game? My how the games are different.

 
Does anyone remember when those Old Turd players wanted Callahan and his staff to stop wearing the Black Adidas NU sweat-suits in 2004 because there wasn’t enough red and it wasn’t the “Nebraska Way”? That was lame just like this is lame; who cares what anybody on the sidelines wear as long as it is Nebraska gear.

Ah...but he DID! And on national TV (I can't remember the exact game but I believe it was in that one year when we were competitive...should be easy to find). It was both embarrassing AND hilarious.

What's even scarier is those pictures are in the same scale.

Anyways, I like the sweatshirt, and I do believe it's what he's always worn, I seem to remember back in 03 him wearing the same shirt. Hmm maybe it's the only husker gear he's got?

LOL So many better things to focus on.
