He got riled up and carried away, but your assessment is lacking a bit of accuracy if you ask me. I was far from agreeing with him on all points, and so were plenty of other people that I can think of, but being respectful and conversational about it would yield disagreeing but not belittling responses from him. He's not unlike any other human being where however you treat him begets itself. The guy wasn't able to have a conversation with anybody who didn't shove Kool-Aid up their rears all season. Me and him had a bout for that reason, when all I was saying was that I didn't believe Bo could get us trending up. If he doesn't agree with you, you're an idiot in his eyes and there's nothing you can say that matters. Your clique can have reunions at the tailgate though!
Not one member, no matter how popular or unpopular, Member or Moderator, is above the rules of this site. EZ-E knew those rules and chose to persist in his behavior.
That's the bottom line.
You know what? I'll back my good buddy Knapplc on this. I was told I was crossing the line recently, and I didn't think I was. Plus, I was told that sh#t I said in 2007 counted today. Yet here I am, existing for all of you to hate me.He was given similar warnings as other people, both publicly and via the official warning system. Others who have had similar warnings have amended their behavior and have remained members. I'm not naming names, but many people can back me up on that if they choose.
It almost seems as if you're implying people instigated him to be how he got at time when that's just not always the case. Sure he favored some users and your time on board gave you more leeway. But I can recall two times where my post count directly related to my intelligence and that I had never been to a tailgate so it was that much worse. He got riled up and carried away, but your assessment is lacking a bit of accuracy if you ask me. You're forgetting someone...TheSker, Po Belini, Landlord, and Hunter74 hate me but I'd buy them all a beer
I'll do it. And I've spoken of such in the favorite mods thread in the shed. The calls to bring EZ-E back imply that he was banned capriciously or without good cause. Neither are true. I personally warned him via PM on several occasions. I cautioned him in person, face to face. I made it utterly clear in his last few months here that he, through his own actions, had placed himself at the threshold of a ban.
The warnings I gave him were not ambiguous, they did not mince words, and they contained direct examples of what not to do.
He was given similar warnings as other people, both publicly and via the official warning system. Others who have had similar warnings have amended their behavior and have remained members. I'm not naming names, but many people can back me up on that if they choose. Others who did not heed those warnings have, like EZ-E, been banned. It was and always has been their choice whether they remain members.
