Will Howard

This offense lacks routes that work off one another, lacks break timing, and has too much waiting for someone to hopefully get open.

The bold is what I noticed all season long. And Satterfield was pretty fond of going to these types of pass plays after converting a first down. That was hard to watch.

Glad we visited and gave it an attempt but I highly doubt this is going anywhere. Apparently Lincoln Riley is visiting today.
I might be drinking Koolaid, but has this season normalized Riley a bit?  His body of work is still pretty small and seems to anchored to one QB.  Kinda like Jimbo at this point.

I still remember the Russel Wilson thread...washed up baseball player that wasn't worth a sniff out of NC State.  LOL...good ol' Nebraska fans....smh
Russ beat us because he could scramble, he spin out of many many sacks, he is a terrible pocket passer otherwise.

But overall, to your point, yeah he found ways to win and was a good enough QB.

Howard does not seem like a good fit for USC. I think he may be a small

step above a game a manger. He is not a USC level QB.
I think he checks the boxes of what Nebraska needs, but his skill set is different than a lot of the QBs in the portal.  USC seems like a poor match.
