Worst weather at Memorial Stadium

I was at that B12 Championship game at Arrowhead in 06, CRAP that crap was cold. They hadn't cleared the snow out of the seats so we were sitting/standing in snow, plus it was about zero degrees and the wind was howling.

Although Purify's fumble on the opening drive to hand OU their first score and Zac Taylor's five picks were oh so much colder. :(
Was at that game as well, the kick off temp was something like 3 degrees? We had to put our feet on some hot chocolate boxes just to keep them off the snow. Miserable........................then I had an 8 year old kid behind constantly saying "OU!" Annoying....................the flyover was hilarious though. One of those glass bubble little helicopters! Thought it was going to crash into the field!
This was def my coldest game too. I just had to get a pop and the top half inch of it or froze on me in like 10 mins. The Iowa game a week ago was cold but that game was a couple steps worse because it was at night.

1993 game with OU. Trev Alberts dislocated elbow early in the game. Coldest game I can remember.
That was cold. There was a game in '88 or '89 where they literally had to keep plowing he field regularly because the snow was coming down that hard.
I agree with caveman- I was trying to peg that game down- I lean towards it being 88- I was in college at that game decked out in all my duck hunting cammo- cold and snowy.

'91 OU game - video is above in this thread. Cold, rainy and foul. Rained off an on the whole game. Keithen McCant dropped a snap and casually picked it up and chucked a beauty TD pass to Johnny Mitchell - south end zone.

2008 Kansas. I'm a skinny dude who HATES the cold. And that game was torture. And it was a close game so I couldn't leave. My feet are still numb from that game.
Was that a night game, I can't remember going even though I was sober. But if it was that was probably the one I was thinking of awhile back where my feet literally hurt walking back because it was so cold. Never felt like that before or since.

It was so cold the restrooms in the upstairs corners of the east stadium were locked because they were frozen. It was black Friday, and I got up at 5:00 AM to buy some new insulated boots.

Wasn't OU '88 the all red uni's and protect this house and jangling the keys and "Hit Me With Your Best Shot"?

That game wasn't cold. It just ended bad.
