I think it's pretty obvious we'd have a slightly better performance with slightly better talent... But that's just me.

If Maurice Washington would not have gotten the boot and been are running back the last 2 years, The Cornhuskers would have won every single one score games that they lost. Also,  if J.D. Spielman had stuck it out this year, we would have only lost to Ohio State. What Maurice was punished for was wrong, but I can't help but feel it was indirectly a punishment for what Lawrence Phillips did back in the 90's.  Just saying...
