A game-changing TE is critical at this point.  Also, the way Robinson separates...we'd be okay...until he declared  :cry
Which part is confusing? The difference a big time TE makes close to the end zone? Robinson’s ability to separate from defenders in tight spaces? The fact Robinson will likely be a pro?

I can see how some recruits would see Chip’s vision more because of his success at Oregon. But he seems to have a much longer way to go at UCLA than Frost does at Nebraska. No worries. Houston appears to be very good.

Saying we need a big bodied WR turned out worse than calling an offensive lineman a project. But if the staff offered and spent resources recruiting him I’d assume they would like a big bodied WR on the roster

I didn't say they wouldn't like to have a guy like that, just that I think some of the local recruiting guys are over-blowing that need (particularly McKewon). Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe Frost thinks the offense will be in trouble without one.

Reminds me of when we lost Owa (Owamagbe Odighizuwa) to UCLA back in 2010 when he picked the Bruins over us.  Oregon St. was in the mix also.  Similar yet different circumstances in that Owa was definitely more sought after.

Best of luck to him honestly but continued luck to us to also...  :thumbs     :bigredn:

Owa and Devin fuller broke my heart by picking UCLA, this one doesn’t move the needle the same way. Would have been a good pick up, but just as happy with Houston. Speed kills and we are loading up with it!

With all due respect.... this is nowhere near Owa levels. lolol That thread was f#&%ing insane. You'd have thought we just lost a natty. I think we hit 50 pages for a recruit who didn't come here?

Yeah I alluded to that.  "Similar yet different circumstances in that Owa was definitely more sought after."  The whole UCLA vs Nebraska battle for a much wanted recruit in general however is what really minded me of that time.  Trust me I remember the board when that was all happening.  Major let down on here when we didn't land him as you remembered as well.
