WR Desmond Fitzpatrick [Louisville - Signed LOI]

Said the WR coach leaving wouldn't change his commitment.
Wonder if they told him it was happening and who the new coach would be?
I know I wouldn't want to sign up at a place not knowing who my position coach would be.
I heard they are going to hire his Dad as their next WR coach.
That's the word. Can't do much about that.
Seriously? I thought you guys were joking

How many people would be saying "Man, that video was awesome!!! I can't wait to get him in Lincoln!!!" if Fitzpatrick had committed to NU instead of Louisville.

I know recruiting is important for the success of our favorite college teams, but man, to get all butt-hurt about the kid's decision is just crazy.

Petrino did that to land that DB from us that one year too. They hired his mom at some capacity at the University. Forgot the DB name.

The kids decision isn't what has fans, and the coaches infuriated. It's how the father and the son handled themselves during the process.

Fitzpatrick actually committed to us back in early December. Fitz and his father both told the coaches that this visit meant nothing, and he was fully committed to Nebraska. That was early this week. It's why the coaches told Kalija Lipscomb not to come on his OV this weekend.

Shady stuff went down this weekend. Dad's guilty mind is blaming Nebraska and the fans now.

It's not bashing anyone to call a spade a spade.

Hopefully we'll see what people say about Jackson's video tomorrow when he picks us.
Difference is that Jackson already let the coaches know. I guess nothing is set in stone, tho
Fits also told us the coaches was coming here.

I know there is some butt hurt going on with this kid's commitment and it would have been nice to get him. But if choosing between him or Simmons, I'd take Simmons.

i don't mind the dad calling out the dum dums who tweet stupid sh#t like they did at his kid, but he has no reason to call out the entire state/fanbase, he's immaturely perpetuating the situation like stooge fans

His tweet is more telling of himself than the morons he's responding to.
