This kid was going to make it for the Spring Game... then his dad got a new job and starts next week. Therefor, his dad doesn't know if he can get off work that friday to travel up for the game... so the family is in waiting mode to see if they can come or not. If they can't make it for the spring game, the dad said they will make it up soon.

While the Brophy Prep prospect mentions Arkansas, Ohio State and Notre Dame amongst the schools that currently stand out to him, he says Nebraska has also been in contact.

I hadn't heard this. Is this what the staff had said? I know they have said we need talented young receivers pretty badly as we are losing several soon. We lose Tim Marlowe, Steven Osborne, KC Hyland, and Taylor Dixon after this year. Even though really only one of them plays it's still bodies that are off the roster. We only brought in one guy this year in Westerkamp. I really think we have to take 3 this fall.... or if we take 2, then we take 3 next fall. We'll lose Quincy Enunwa the following year.

There is no reason we shouldnt take 2 this year, and maybe 2 next year. Especially if kids like Devon want to be Huskers, and getting a QB like Stanton could be appealing to WR's in this years class.

 
Big class, gotta get numbers at each position, hit the areas of need a little harder, but don't skimp on something then have to take more numbers with a smaller class.
