This is one of the bigger reasons why even a 5-7 record this year will be enough.  This will be "the sell" that will win out even if the 8-4 record isn't earned.

We "may" get more than one year out of this staff as it is now.

I'd highly recommend placing your bet on that.

I tend to agree with this. He may actually have two years to get it done to give the new assistants time — unless the bottom totally falls out next season, but I don’t think that will happen.

With this schedule, anything less than 7-5 should get Frost fired. Although I think he stays if he gets to 6-6.

I get that the transfer and recruiting operation seems good, but it doesn't take 5 years to build a .500 football program in the Big Ten West.
