Well we all witnessed what happens to a recruit when you screw over Coach Pelini and his staff! ala Simi. I personally think some other team may have made a last ditch effort at KT. I know for a fact that our coaching staff was on the phone with him AFTER he announced his decision. Most likely to ask him WTF was that announcment was all about! :steam Oh well....Pess on and keep fighting!

Lets just say he kept Coach Bo waiting for over a half an hour on their first visit. There are other "things" I have heard but can't really say if they are true one way or another.

This is a half-story that doesn't really need to be told. Actions before this caused Simi to sour on us and we pretty much did the same.

But the whole thing needs to be left alone. Celebrate who we do have and worry about that whole saga another day.

 
Kendall, come to Nebraska. You could really make a difference here. Your speed and elusiveness would devastate the rest of the competition in the Big 12. Don't give in to peer pressure. Do what's best for you and your future

 
According to a poster on Huskerpedia, Miami did get his LOI. I wish the kid good luck, but don't screw around. If you were solid with Miami from day one, then say so and don't waste Pelini's and his staff's time. Apparently he not only took the N cap off, he threw it onto the floor. The guy was suspect anyway if it's true he didn't tell the Miami coaches he was visiting Nebraska. Forget about him. He clearly is not a Bo type of player.

if that's true about Thompkins throwing the Nebraska hat on the floor, it'll be that much easier to move on. We don't need crap like that here. We have too much class.
