To which school will Terry commit?

You’d have to think our Huskers have a good shot! He’d be playing next year. 
 

Texas already has a stacked class at WR! Just wonder if he goes with Texas and gets forced to the defensive side of the ball. Which he’s stated he wants to play offense. 

 
Wilson Dittman says there is an 88 percent chance of N signing him. He says N’s offense will be more geared for him plus the two five stars and one four star WR commitments that Texas has already landed will play a big part. But his only concern is if at the last moment Texas would up the NIL offer for him and make him an offer he cannot refused. Cortez Mills has had total radio silence, and he has no idea where he is flipping to if he flips.

Does Wilson Dittman have ANY real sources? He is basically us, but with a podcast from his parents' basement.

He says he has direct or indirect  contact with prospects. If not the kid himself or the parents, he contacts folks who apparently know the kid fairly well. Listen we will find out in a few days if his prediction, especially Terry, turns out to be true. But Texas has all that NIL money, so who knows for sure.

I'm sure they have more money but they aren't as desperate for a WR.

 
Would love to land Terry as much as anyone in this thread, but let's temper expectations just a bit. While his upside is high, this is also a kid who has not played WR full time.  He's not a Jeremiah Smith level prospect in terms of his mastery of the skills that allow you to excel at WR.  We've just seen how this setup can play out, elite WR with size and elite physical abilities (Malachi Coleman).  Not saying there's any direct correlation between the two, Terry's HS production has been extremely high, while Malachi left you scratching your head as to why he wasn't able to impact games at a level equal to his physical talent.  However, the fact remains Terry will be raw at WR.  Another not so close to home example would be Nyck Harbor at South Carolina.  Being big and fast is great, but those two traits alone do not directly translate to instant success at WR.  Even with Holgerson running the O, what's the realistic ceiling for Terry year 1? 30 catches, 450 yards, 4 TDs? Long term, he can blow those numbers out of the water, but we need guys who can contribute at WR right now.  Year 2 for Dylan is going to require a massive production jump from the WR position.

So we go get 1-2 guys out of the portal. But let’s not pretend Nebraska is in position to turn ours nose up at 5 star talent

Expectations have been fairly reasonable about Michael for awhile. Look no further than the page count of this thread as evidence of a relatively mild expectation of whether or not we land him. We don't need the second coming of Jerry Rice to win football games. With his abilities, he could absolutely find a role next season and develop into an outstanding receiver as he gets more experience. 

Regarding the comparisons to Malachi, I think the two are very different, especially with how they handled their recruitments. Malachi's seemed to be unnecessarily dramatic, while Michael's has been relatively quiet and more a professional, no nonsense approach.
