Almost sounds like playing football is just a side gig... but hey, if we can get him here for baseball and he plays football also...oh well...I'm happy:) I'm sure Erstad is giving him some good advice.

Yup, but the better questions are whether he gets an offer that large and whether he'd pass on the six figure offer he's more likely to get.

 
I was holding out hope that if he didn't go until the second round he might choose to stay but that doesn't sound very likely now.

 
You have to take the cash...it makes no sense not to.

Even with Starling, sure he is struggling but he is struggling in baseball and has a loaded bank account and can still come back to college.
