You do have to understand that Clemson was just in the National Championship.. They were one onside kick away from going undefeated. If that team was offering me and I was in the kid's shoes, I would be crazy not to at least visit them. Just because a kid visits doesn't mean he's committing. If he does, so be it, but that's not from a lack of effort to this coaching staff.

I live in Charlotte so I know all about Clemson. Almost went to school there- its a beautiful campus and obviously the success of their football team recently is extremely hard to turn down

I was just referring to us seemingly being in a solid-good position with a recruit late in the process and then a bigger name school (by today's standards) coming in and offering and getting a visit

3* WR Nate Johnson committed before Christmas. He's been told to start looking around (Visits to ND , VTech and Vandy I think)

This happens when a bigger target is available and interested. Not saying Simmons is a lock for them but all the cards are looking that way.

2* DT Rashard Weaver a commit since July now looking around as well (Visits to Duke and Temple I think)

Another best friend of #1 prospect Rashan Gary current commit to PSU (3* DT Michael Dwumfour) is visiting. Not saying Dwumfour is a lock for them but the cards again are falling that way.

Feels dirty to me but maybe that is where things are these days...and maybe it has always been that way and I just didn't know.

Did he do this at Stanford? Or this more of a program turnover by a new coach?

I would be OK with our staff taking a look at the Michigan kids that got pushed out. Might give them a chip on their shoulder when we face the fighting Harbaugh's.

 
I dont know what his 40 time is or how quick he is but if he is wanting to play Wr he must have some decent wheels.

I could and would love to see this kid at Cornerback. The kid at Corner and Jackson at Safety could be the start to one heck of a secondary..
