Those are some pretty average offers......

 
Since we didn't end up getting a slot type WR, we are prob looking to take one in this class. He fits that mold, and as far as offers go don't put too much stock in to that right now. If he gets out to some camps and has a productive senior season he will see a ton more offers.

Saw this in McKewon's review. Who do you guys think he means when he says "everyone has been telling me..." (assuming just our coaches) - can't remember the last time we targeted a kid from McKinney

Won the WR MVP at the NUC 2013 Southwest Five-Star Showcase. Easily the fastest kid on the field (good vertical). Recent interview with HI has him still high on Nebraska. He says they are recruiting him hard and that he loves the facilities and offense.

Looking for a commit from Williams during The Opening. Beck spent a lot of time with him and his dad. Williams seemed to really enjoy everything. Williams also said the NU facilities are superior to Those at Texas and Oklahoma (maybe Jason Hall should have come up ;) ).

Hope Farmer helps out from now until The Opening, as they will both be there.

He tweeted that he will be announcing July 9 at 630-7 at his HS. Usually a good sign when they announce a date right after visiting. Love this kid speed kills. Tavon Austin 2.0

 
Does him being 145 pounds concern anybody? I know college weight room, training table will come up but at MINIMUM you would want him to get up to 165, and it's not easy to just gain 15% of your body weight in a year. That's equivalent to a DL going from 250 to about 290.

 
Doesn't need to gain that in a year. Guessing he's more then that already, he's got his whole senior year as well. Won't even see him for 2 years at the earliest anyway. Plus with all the rule changes protecting players it favors these little speedsters.
