Normally I cringe at these predictions but I think you are right. Our lack of size currently and lack of anyone making plays at the position this year it is wide open.

I try not to make it where it isn't warrented. We don't have anyone with his frame and ability on the roster currently and we are desperately in need of such. Omar Manning could change things but I still think Betts is a good bet for solid PT next year

As long as he can understand the playbook.  That has held up a lot of good offensive players over the years. (not just this staff)

Yes that is the only hinderance I see for him.

Who will be one of the faster players in his class and will play high-level D1  Betts gets a slight pass from me

Sure, but he will be a day one starter here. He is an insane talent, and if his academics weren't a factor he would hold an offer to some big time programs.

Ok, you are correct.  I guess I just got confused because Farniok gets to play and he never seems to block anyone.
